Peas Cabbage Recipe

Type of Meal : Mostly for Lunch, Dinner.

Preparation Time : 10 minutes

Cooking Time : 20 minutes

Ingredients for Peas Cabbage Recipe

  • Cabbage/patta gobhi (chopped) - 4 cups
  • Onion (chopped) - 1
  • Green peas (matar) - 1/2 cup
  • Green chily (chopped) - 1
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Black mustard seeds (rai)- 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Grounded black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon

    Method for Peas Cabbage Recipe

    1. Heat oil in a kadai
    2. Add mustard seeds(rai) and let it crackle. Add onions, green chily and fry till onions turn golden brown
    3. Now add peas(mutter) and fry for 2-3 minutes
    4. Add cabbage and mix well
    5. Add turmeric, coriander, red chily powder, salt and mix well
    6. Cover it and cook on low heat till cabbage and peas are tender
    7. Put garam masala and black pepper, mix well
    8. Serve Peas Cabbage hot with paratha
